Lopsided
Hybrid Memoir · Seeking Publisher
"The brilliant experimental essayist Shifra Sharlin has written a treatise on grief like no other. Refusing consolation, preferring entanglement in memory and scientific texts, it manages to be deeply moving, exhilarating and even funny."
— Philip Lopate
I wrote Lopsided because I am lopsided. I have one breast and one brother. I used to have two of each. Nobody wants to be lopsided, but most people are. We wobble along nonetheless.
I am looking for a publisher.
